"I create to inspire, to laugh, to express and to initiate social change."

Valerie Hubbard Damon is an author, illustrator, publisher, sculptor and multi-dimensional artist. Her first children's book, Grindle Lamfoon and the Procurious Fleekers, was hailed as "full of love, magic and wisdom and high standards for children's books" (L.A. Times). Willo Mancifoot and the Mugga Killa Whomps is beautifully illustrated with intricate detail enhancing the themes of conflict resolution and reverance for nature.

Valerie's teapots are burnished, detailed and saggar fired. They embody her sense of reverance for water. Her one of a kind mixed-media character dolls have elaborate costumes with rare fabrics, ornamentation and original teasets. Valerie gives presentations and teaches at Eureka Springs School of the Arts. She lives with her husband Dave "off the grid" in the mountains of Eureka Springs.
